Welcome to Fairfax Anesthesiology Pain Care directed by the physicians of Fairfax Anesthesiology Associates. Our pain management doctors are all board certified. We work closely with your personal physician to determine an effective pain treatment program. Fairfax Anesthesiology Pain Care focuses on two types of pain: new and chronic pain. Acute pain management is designed for active adults who have new pain symptoms and need the help of a specialist. In some cases, pain control is not just a matter of comfort but is also a matter of medical safety that can contribute to the healing process. Chronic pain is a complex condition that refers to pain that has lasted longer than expected for a disease or injury. It is frequently severe enough to limit a person's activity and make it difficult to function at work or at home. |
